Let’s be honest—most canned lattes don’t taste like a latte.

They’re either too sweet, too chalky, or full of artificial junk that leaves you wondering what you just drank. When we couldn’t find a canned cold brew that actually tasted like something from a great coffee shop, we decided to make it ourselves.

That’s how Blue Hound Brew was born.

It Started with a Simple Question:

Why can’t a canned latte taste like a real one from a café?

We weren’t chasing trends or fads—we just wanted something simple: a cold brew latte made with real milk, real coffee, and ingredients you can trust.

Every Blue Hound can starts with 100% organic, pasture-raised whole milk—because when you’re making a latte, the milk matters. Most brands go for powdered milk or plant-based fillers. We don’t.

We pair that with ethically sourced, specialty-grade cold brew coffee, brewed for a smooth, bold flavor without bitterness. Then we add just enough real cane sugar to round it out.

To bring the flavor forward, we use carefully selected natural flavors—never artificial. The result? Lattes that are smooth, balanced, and made to taste like the real thing.

Shelf-Stable Thanks to Smart Pasteurization

One of the things we’re most proud of?
Our lattes are shelf-stable for 12 months—no refrigeration required before opening.

But that doesn’t mean they’re full of preservatives. In fact, we achieve this thanks to a sophisticated thermal pasteurization process called retort. It’s a technique typically reserved for products like milk and baby food—one that allows us to lock in freshness without artificial preservatives.

We do use a small amount of gellan gum and acacia to keep the milk suspended and the texture silky—but everything inside is there for a reason, and nothing you wouldn’t expect in a quality, shelf-stable dairy product.
